Information for presenters and moderators
At the conference, each session is a piece of the puzzle – defining the scope, character and particularities. From the sessions, we explore the theme, we fill it with content and we make it relevant. Thank you for wanting to be part of creating ECLAS 2021 Stop and Think.
The conference programme and Abstract catalogue have been published on the website. We suggest that you search the programme (Ctrl+F for Windows, Command+F for macOS) for your name to find the session(s) where you will participate. The documents will be updated in the beginning of August. Please contact email@example.com if you have to make changes to your submission.
Prior to the conference a Book of Abstracts will be published.
The moderator(s) for a session will contact presenters concerning the session setup. Please note that many people are on vacation and moderators might initiate this contact closer to the conference.
An academic paper presentation is around 15 minutes long. The assigned minutes for a presentation might differ slightly depending on the number of papers in the session.
Presenters will be able to share their screen (PowerPoint, documents, etc.) and show YouTube video at the conference platform Hopin. Miro can also be used with the participants as it is integrated in Hopin. Please note that the presenter will be responsible for and in charge of broadcasting their material. More information about Hopin will be posted before the conference and technical support will be available during the conference.
Moderators choose the overall structure for their session. Therefore, moderators need to contact the session’s presenters in advance of the conference so presenters can prepare accordingly. The document Instructions for moderators is to be used as a starting point for the moderators’ tasks.

There will be a Hopin workshop and Q&A in the afternoon the 6th of September in Hopin for all moderators. During this workshop, moderators will learn how to moderate a session in Hopin. More information about this event and how to access it will be sent out closer to the workshop. Information about Hopin will be posted before the conference and technical support will be available during the conference.
